Not sure about this, but can't you connect your gps to mapsource, without the SD card inserted, then de-select the areas in mapsource ?

If they've used MP3 audio for this product, it won't play on your Nüvi 255 at all...
...I'm surprised you didn't at least get a default 'Bong, Bong' though.

Steve, I have the 1390T and I find it a lot easier to use my fingernail rather than my finger to move the map. It seems to "stick" to my fingernail somehow.

Specs for the card are in the back of the manual (.pdf), whichcan be downloaded from the Garmin site.

Took me about a dozen 'phone calls and over 6 weeks to get my V7 Evil or Very Mad

However, I can't complain about the way it was all handled though, very helpfull on the 'phone.

Just installed to my Quest and working perfectly.
