Are other USB connections OK?
Look in XP device manager, any alerts in USB?
Plug into the rear of the PC straight off the Mo board.
What version of ASync? 4.2 is the latest.

I have reinstalled XP on my machine and now when I plug in my XDA Mini S it cannot connect.

The computer realises its there, it installs something called Generic RNDIS (or something like that)

Instead of reinstalling just try soft reseting the machine. I have had the same problem and it sorted it

There are two lots of settings you need. Follow both...

1) GPRS Web Settings

Start ... Settings ... Connections ... Connections ...
Under My ISP tap Manage Existing Connections and then Tap E ...

Turns out there is a way. The Midlet manager on the XDAs should run it. I tried and the program opened but it wont let me do anything. Perhaps I need a Java runtime thing? Can anyone recommend?
