My 1490T at one point showed the address book from my work's nasty 2330 Nokia. It did not from my HTC. It stopped showing the Nokia directory after I paired it with my HTC.

I have tried the factory reset. I have also tried reloading using Webupdater rather than MyDashboard.
As for updating the maps, this required manually deleting files. Not the sort of thing you would ... |

My new 1490T was very disapointing regarding screen refresh. It could often take 10-15 seconds to refresh the screen when it zoomed out, and at slower roads when zoomed in the map turning was jerky.
