In the email that I got from satmap it said that
Trip Log Screen: the 'Stop' button now stops all data recording until re-started.
Has anyone tested this and know what they mean, or what benefi ... |

All working as it should now - I downloaded all the vista updates one at a time ending with the active-x one without a problem.

Further to my earlier post. I have spoken to SatMap who tell me -
Pressing start / stop only will stop recording to the trip log.
The unit will continue to plot a trail - start / stop does not stop ... |

Still somewhat of a novice using any type of gps system but with help from SatMap I am a bit further in understanding.

I see Quo have a free download on their web - or I believe a Pro version can be bought for about £30. I will look into the differences but probably try the free one first
