I have removed all 'voice ' files from my nuvi, so nav mode is silent.

The poi warning bongs are still present anyone know which folder they are stored in?

I assume therefore they are not ...

Working now! Appears that when I installed the 2.4.0.0 it did not overwrite the poi loader already on the computer.

In the UK each type of road has a classifiacation i.e Motorway, A, B, etc.

Maybe I'm wrong but in order to calculate faster route and arrival time the mapping data must include speed of each road. ...

If you open the .csv files in excel you can will see that each camera will have a speed associated with it i.e Mobile4567@70.

Simply do a search all '@70' and replace with '@75'

You will find that they are listed in order of 'distance' from your current location.

To delete favorites you need to do a 'hard' reset.

Simply hold the back button and scroll wheel in, and turn on the i3.

Normally if the card (original i3) is removed the unit should not work at all and a display screen should ask you reinsert the mapping data.

Definately sounds as if something funny is going on!

Are you in thr Republic of Ireland?

I know that only major towns and cities are fully mapped there, one in the rural areas only main roads are maped.
