Hello all, i have a streetpilot 3 on the way at last (i wanted one when they came out!)

I have had the etrex, gpsIII and gpsIII+ and more recently the i3 till it sadly wet fiz..

I'm wondering ...

For reasons i wont go into now ( Evil or Very Mad

) MY i3 has been wird directly to a 12v source, which has killed it (the smell alone is proof)
