Thanks for the info. I did suspect that it was only Road Angel DB that could be updated. I will pass the info to my Brother-in-law. I think he should have bought a different GPS.

Problem solved. I had installed the 4109 data file in the wrong directory.

All working OK now.

I used the data.chk 4109 as you suggested but the sounds I am getting after the installation of 4109 into my map directory are just the standard sounds that come with the Tom Tom Prog.

I never leave either the TTGo or the mount on display. Any thief will look and see the mount and perhaps think that the GPS may be in the car somewhere so he breaks the window to have a quick look.
