I've been a life long Destinator fan but got stuck at version 6 on my iPAQ PDA.

The latest firmware update for my Edge 205 apparently lets it output the GPS position. Has anyone tried this yet? I have got the cable yet but will see what I can find. |

Connecting an iPaq and a GPS via a USB cable cannot be done..that is a mistake Garmin made. Its possible using a Bluetooth (BT) Car plug cable though or using a BT GPS mouse.

Oh dear. Thanks for the warning. Both of my normal cable suppliers websites don't mention the cable - which makes me wonder if you are right.

You can't do it in D3. I've set mine to dim the screen after 5 minutes when on power (i.e. in the car or at home in the cradle) which is usually enough for me.
