1. Sunday - emailed SATMAP with problem, also left telephone message.
2. Monday - Received email reply, telling me to return the unit to them.

Just contacted SATMAP, hoping for a solution to the rubber top breaking away from the Joystick. It's almost broken off, so will make panning very difficult (if not impossible) very soon.

Sorry can't help, but I was looking for the same function to differentiate between different POIs as well. Perhaps it's another item on the list of things to do!? By the way, I'm another Mac user...
