Smart ST V2 had a couple of service packs release after the initial release. i suspect you have a later release ... |

The 700 is USB 2 i think. you need to use the installer for the latest software upgrade to make use of the backup utility. |

all the ones around portsmouth ARE OK. there seems to be an extra one on the isle of wight that i shall have a look at. as im not living there permantly at the moment its hard to check. |

From experience. i have tt3 and AA nav on my 3970, TT is fine but AA nav has similar problems to yours. i suspect it may be a problem with the program talking to the sleeve. |
