Press the page button on the right hand bottom.
There you will see the "avoid" settings, like avoid unsealed roads. There should be an avoid ferries ... |

The only map you can use with a Meridian Color is the MapSend series of maps.
MapSend Europe is the only map that covers your intended area.
The map covers streets/roads/paths.

I really don't know where Mapsonic puts the file.
If you look at the card from PalmOs it's giving nothing away. Probably hidden files.

The filesize is dependent of the free ram you have left on your Palm (which is small) or your card.
I use 256 Mb cards and still you cannot get the whole of britain on this.
