After six and a half hours download time!!!! I have reinstalled the data on the SD card .................. and IT WORKS.

Mike on the 960 there are no buttons on the front, only the main On/Off on the top. There is a reset hole on the back.

Not sure about hard and soft reset. I have used a "non ferrous metal spike" in the reset hole on the back and I have also used the content manager to do a "restore ... |

Thanks Paul most helpful. The biggest problem is that there is no way of knowing what POIs are loaded by garmin as standard or can you use POI loader in reverse!!!

went to the folder with the icon bitmaps and deleted the one I thought was suspicious, loaded up content manager and bingo new files without a problem.
