I had an Acer N35 PDA/GPS with a similar problem and discovered it was the main board that had developed a fault, outwith the guarantee of course:).

| Have you tried to format the sd card? If you do try maske sure you format it with the correct FAT. which is FAT 16 I think but double check with someone before doing the format. |
