I don't see why the data should be smaller whether the TomTom says the verbose, or succinct version of the road name. It still needs to know what it is.

After some deliberation .... RDS-TMC may be the answer if HD Traffic doesn't come out before August.

Maybe I am alone, but the update to my 720 worked fine. Speech recognition worked, mapshare worked, PGPS Speed Cams still worked.

It's stupid to withdraw the Navcore 8 due to the Lane Guidance op ...
