according to tomtom you are only can use the LMG if your device came with version 7.*** and maps 7.**
If you look closer you will see that that only applies to the devices with An 'asterisk' (*)

I was talking about a navcore code fork.
It also wouldn't surprise me at this point if the map update from 810 to 815 contained little or no new mapping data. |

I am thinking that TomTom should just create a code fork from 8.010 and just add support for IQ2 and the 8.15 maps.
Apparently they have made a lot of changes from 8.010 to 8.300 and there ... |
