Hi,
Replacing the battery is easy, just need to be careful, BUT as you will see from my recent post I lost my GPS signal, and can't get it back. Be very very careful with the aerial connection. |

Just to let you all know that I opened the case again. Tried very carefully to make sure that I had fully reconnected the GPS aerial and closed it up again, and hooray I had a signal.

I will look into it.
The upgrade seemed to install onto my Mio, but I suppose it is possible it did not upgrade the map? |

I purchased downloaded and installed yesterday what I believed to be the latest UK maps.
The system shows it to be Great_Britain_Plus_Map v 571.

Thanks for the explanation, at least there is a valid explanation for the apparent illogicality of the Tom Tom upgrade!!

I have managed to get the latest map onto my Mio. A130 seems all there OK, but no sign of the new dual section of A120 from M11 to Braintree!! So much for up to date maps |
