my biggest gripe with Garmin is they have not addressed problems with poor TMC reception on my Nuvi 300 & 660 - 4 years! I have vowed never to buy another Garmin product again.

It looks a nice device, but given the fact that Garmin have not addressed issues I have on my Nuvi 660 TMC I will not be throwing good money after bad on another Garmin device.

My traffic works ok over 3 G network. I have however taken extreme measures by setting my iphone 3G as a new phone and only installing apps that report to be ios4 tested / compliant

I did a retore installation.

I've since set the phone up as a new phone and am only loading apps that are indicating tested or stating iOS4 compliant.

I'll try the TT V1.4 over the weekend.

I used to have similar problems, so now do a clean install when a new version is released. Remove from iphone, remove from laptop, then download from itunes to PC and resync.
