It *does* work when the phone is in standby. However, you mention that you have got it set up to use bluetooth so it may be that your phone's bluetooth (or your bluetooth receiver) is not playing nice ...

The only 'solution' I've found is to put the app into prevent standby mode but this means the screen is on 24/7 and it drains the battery very quicklyHad you thought of killing the app when not in us ...

I've set up CamerAlert with the bluetooth in my car and it is excellent.

However, as soon as my iPhone goes into standby mode or if I manually set the iPhone to standby by pressing the off button ...
