CA is putting up a grey box top left with a digit in it. Touching it gives a second one to the right. Does not seem to do anything.

Thanks for the testing, but 3.3 definitely does not zoom without a route as speed changes. :-(

According to the help pane, smart zoom ought to work regardless of having a route active. Has anyone seen it actually work with no route?

The answer is certainly "no" - it isn't available as a *legally* implemented product for PNA devices. There are, of course, various hacks.

Navngo have no plans to provide any of their PDA product ...
