Unfortunately the installation advice for these units such as the GO 1000/1005 is out of date. TT have updated their MyDrive Connect software so it will only accept ov2 files not bmp or ogg. ... |

To open the receiver I use a knife and split the unit along the seam so both halves seperate, as for checking the wires if you have a meter for continuity check each of the four wires to the free plug ... |

Hi,
The compatibility chart doesn't mention it but my GO 720 which has been updated to V8.010/9369 seems to work OK with its original map, Western Europe V705.1480.
