Bob,

Sound like you have got the unit in manual mode. Press the "Next Page" button again to switch to automatic mode again, and your map will scroll as you drive.

Just because Navman mount costs just south of £30, does not mean you are getting a superior product (could be that Navman are ripping off it's customer base, and may in fact be no coinciden ...
