I use the chevrons as I believe they are displayed on the jolly big blue sign. with one gap between vehicles. I.e 40 m apart.
Then please don't follow me along the motorway.  |

Oh, I see.
The Type 1 Distance marker posts are tenths of a kilometre so the distance apart is 109.36 yards / 5 chevrons i.e. 21.192 yards x 2 chevrons = 43.824 yards.

Both cars are slowing down but, most importantly, they are both still moving forward. So that an approximately 21 yard gap stays there if they slow down at roughly the same rate

I'll answer directly.
Non of them, go for iGO PRIMO with truck, can be set up for 1 or 2 drivers, number of axles, length, weight etc etc.
However they are difficult to get hold of. |

I think the bays should be at least another 12 to 18 inches wider because even the humble Fiesta and Astra are getting wider over the years not to mention the new Mini. |
