| I tried the multimedia route but went back to Bluetooth as it mutes the audio.
I'm still in testing mode as there are so many Android Auto, Bluetooth and STA settings to balance. My latest, that I haven't tested yet, is a GM setting I spotted that I didn't have set, to allow Bluetooth Google Maps and phone calls at the same time. |

| I have having an issue where to get Speedtrap alerts on the car audio system I need to toggle the Wireless Android Auto setting on the phone every time I start the app. It does not matter what the current setting is, I just have to change it to on or off to get the alerts over the car audio. Until I do that the alerts play on the phone speaker
I am using Samsung S21 connected by USB and Bluetooth to a Ford Sync 3 system and using multimedia output in Speedtrap alert. I am using Google Maps or Waze for navigation displayed on the car screen. |
