Good
It's surprising how many uninstalls leave things behind
Some criticise CCleaner but it does work and isn't heavy on what it removes. Just use the portable version as I mentioned
One magazine promotes BleachBit instead but BB doesn't have the cookie whitelist that I find crucial |

Is this a Windows PC ?
If so, I would uninstall it again, then download and run CCleaner (portable version only) and run both the cleanup and registry checker to clear out anything left behind.

CCleaner portable does not install and is a far safer version IMO
Note: Before you run CCleaner it's worth going through its Cookies list and whitelisting any you don't want removing.
Sounds a faff but is well worth doing |

Just tried to use my up-to-date GE; would not load. Removed files as advised by Garmin and downloaded (latest?) version, which also would not run. Anyone else had problems with it? |
