We get so many questions about Map Version; "what's the difference", "What's in it", "What's not in it", that we've decided to provide the definitive list - with your help.
This matrix will be for all TomTom Platforms, V5 and V6. It will help you to answer the question "What map versions are compatible with my application, and where to get the maps?"
Hopefully this will also help avoid downloading a Map and then finding out it doesn't work with a particular Software Version.

How to find the program build :
Tap the Screen at the bottom where the Satellite Signal Graph is.
Tap the next screen where the Software Version Number is displayed.
In the next Screen the Software Version, App, is shown on the second line. We just need the first 4 digits inside the brackets. In the sample screen this would be 2830.
How to find the map version :
Further down is Maps:, with the name of the Map. The V number is the build number of the Map which we would also like. In the sample screen this would be 314.
