This might not technically be a GPS, but when you are out hiking it's always good to have a backup just in case you drop the GPS, or the batteries run out, and I am always one for gadgets, ask anyone who knows me! This really is the hikers gadget, the I-Quip Compass Pod. It comes in two flavours analogue and digital and comes with an array of knives, screwdrivers, saw, LED flashlight, Survival Whistle, Lighter, corkscrew, can opener oh and a digital or analogue compass.
