The Senate Budget Committee has delayed Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's plan to raise $400 million by installing speed cameras across California.

Bipartisan political opposition from Democratic and Republican senators as well as the Teamsters Union and the Automobile Club of Southern California appears to have stalled Arnie's dream of rolling out up to 500 cameras.
