pocketgpsworld.comEach year NORAD join in the Christmas festivities with their Track Santa website.

The tradition began in 1955 when a misprint in an ad inviting on children to call Santa resulted in the telephone number of The Commander-in-Chief's hotline being published!

Instead of creating a major incident they chose to join in the fun and have been running the service every Christmas since.

Nowadays NORAD use Google Earth to track Santa's progress across the globe. You can view progress on the NORAD site or if you have Google Earth (free download) you can download a .kml file.

Drop by the NORAD Santa website on Christmas eve to participate in the fun with your children young or old!
