PocketGPSWorld.com customer Collins Road Atlases, has received a commendation at The British Cartographic Society Awards. In the Printed Mapping category they were highly commended for the 2009 Collins Fold Out Atlas Britain which we are proud to report contains PocketGPSWorld.com's fixed and average-speed safety cameras.
David Mumford of Collins says, "A brand new style of atlas for 2009, it’s bigger on the inside than the outside, a bit like Dr Who’s Tardis. The atlas is divided into clear, easy to use colour coded sections to help you find the scale best suited to your requirements.
Despite the compact size of the atlas each mapping page folds out to reveal a large area of mapping at a scale of 3.2 miles to 1 inch. The handy spiral binding means that the atlas lies flat and can be folded back on itself for ease of use."
