Back in July PocketGPSWorld sponsored the balloons in a charity balloon race held in Fleet, Hampshire. The finder and owners of the furthest travelling balloon's (biodegradable ones!) would get prizes if the attached card was returned.
Well the closing date recently came and went and the winner was from a small island off the East coast of Denmark here. That's a journey of over 400km's! Amazingly we also had a number of cards returned from various locations across Holland as well as a small cluster found in Wickford, Essex!
Proceeds of the event will be going to a local charity for brain injuries.
