News: Free Mobile Map Download with Paper Maps from the OS

Ordnance Survey are in the process of updating their mapping products and are now offering a free digital download when you purchase a paper map. Initially the offer applies to the more detailed Outdoor Leisure maps at 1:25,000 scale.

The first of these were released on June 10th covering the National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the remainder being introduced over the rest of 2015. The new Landranger 1:50,000 scale maps will not be released until 2016, when they too will include the free digital map. The price of each map is £8.99 including free delivery.
