News: Volvo introduce dynamic road reporting

One of the more interesting items to come out of MWC this year was Volvo's initiative to make driving safer using connected cars. This is actually not new news, as Volvo announced it last year, but Ericsson were highlighting their connected car infrastructure at MWC.

The concept is that sensors on the car detect the road conditions, in particular ice, and warn other connected car users. This also has the capability to inform the local services to enable them to dispatch gritting lorries in an attempt to be extremely reactive to problems on the roads.
