News: Geospatial Revolution - New Web TV Series

pocketgpsworld.comPennsylvania State Public Broadcasting are undertaking a project to produce a series of programs covering the revolution in GPS, navigation and digital mapping.

With some big names amongst the funders of the project including Navteq, ESRI and Northop Grumman, the project aims to expand public knowledge of the history, application and potential future of location based technology.

The production team has worked on documentaries for Discovery Channel, ABC, HBO amongst others and if the first episode (now available to view online) is anything to go by then the series looks very promising.

Watch Episode 1 on-line here. Episode 2 is due Nov 2nd with the complete series scheduled for completion by Mar 2011.
