I need a new battery for my Garmin 2589 done a google search but can not seem to find anywere in the UK to buy a new one, anyone got any thoughts or links please as to where I might be able to purchase one.

There are several. Including this one HERE + some on eBay. Search for "Garmin 2589 battery UK". If you want UK results, then put UK in the Google search. Simples
