My latest TomTom PNDs is a 950 (i.e. the same range as your 550). I stopped buying TomTom PNDs when TomTom stopped third party POI support on their PNDs.

If you buy a 5200, you can allegedly use TomTom MyDrive to "add POI (Point of Interest) files, Favourites and your active destination and sync all these to your device". However, I don't think that the icons are transferred so you won't see POIs on either the map nor the navigation screen! You certainly can't import and show the PGPSW cameras on a 5200.

After the 950 I bought the TomTom app (UK & Ireland and Europe) for my iPhone which is reasonable as you can use an external program (iMazing) to load third party POIs and their associated icons, although you can't edit or add new POIs. Unfortunately the old TomTom apps have been removed by TomTom and you get just the TomTom GO Mobile which is very poor on the iPhone and possibly not much better on the Android platform.

Hopefully a 5200 owner will come along and add their experiences here.

Regards,
