Tonight, when I turned to GE v4.1.19.0 for my regular Wednesday night check in it had lost all three of my devices. So, I updated it to v4.1.22.0, but still no devices found. Out of interest has anyone else had this problem, or know why this has happened? _________________ Dabri.

No and no, sorry, just like I don't know why occasionally I have to re-input log in details for websites even though my PC generally auto completes them. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

My two devices are still visible.
I also took the opportunity to update to v"22".
Whatever happened to the option to automatically update? |

Not sure, but I think it disappeared a while back. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I just revisited GE and it has again lost the device I re-added earlier this evening. Maybe it's my computer, or Microsoft's plan to get me to move to Windows 10. _________________ Dabri.

GE must be holding data somewhere that your PC is zapping. Installed anything recently?
Surely M$ wouldn't keep pestering you to downgrade to Win10 _________________ Satnav:

Not knowingly. I am doing all I can to stop M$ being helpful. _________________ Dabri.

Checked with Garmin. Apparently the check for this was removed a few updates back. It is set up now where it will automatically update when a higher priority update is released. With some of the minor bug patches, it will now only update when you manually check for updates. This was apparently done to eliminate confusion since they had people who unchecked the box but were upset because some of the updates were still forced. Would have thought it would have been better not to force the updates! _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Some updates were forced and some were not? Ah, I see. That's not at all confusing is it? |
