Go 60 European Vs UK maps.

Just purchased a Go 60 and I am very pleased with it compared with my old Go 910.
The 60 came with free Western European maps for the life of the unit. Are the UK & ROI maps more detailed (they are on offer at the moment but only last for a year) or is the detail the same.
I am a retired old git who only uses Tomtom for leisure.
