As the OP has been satisfied, I am going to hijack this topic.

This is my main worry about ditching TT and going Garmin. The POI's.

I have read on other pages of this site that Garmin populate the screen with POI's that you can't remove. Apart from speed cams and Tolls I prefer to not show any POI's.

Is the above screen grab typical of a Garmin setup? or are these the POIs that the OP has set to view?

I'm a recent convert from TomTom to Garmin, and yes you can turn those off, I have!

Mine are off too, just my POIs and speedcams. Something in the Map layers setting if I remember right.

I've just moved across from TT and am very happy with what I have now Smile
