Doesn't the NuviCam have digital traffic?
... but with no built in receiver.
May I stay dubious? _________________ Satnav:

Agreed, if there is no receiver built in then you need the receiver in the cable, but for all others there is the 'standard' power cable it seems which will power all Garmin devices and act as the antenna for ones that need it _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Don't hold your breath on that last one suss. I'll report back. Quote: | I think that's simply because they've now standardised on the TA20 | It's not the same part number as TA20, and the TA20 that I got off eBay didn't work on Digital Traffic. |

I know, but I'm not sure that one was kosher
Will be interesting to see what happens when your Garmin one arrives _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

The one from Garmin works OK.
Details and layout are:
TA20 Car Charger
PN 320-00239-70
Input...Blah Blah
Output...Blah Blah
Fuse...Blah Blah
CAUTION
Blah Blah Blah
WS-080-19B
So pretty much the same as the photo posted by Kremmen a few days ago. So it seems like the other one was a very good look alike, but didn't work. |

So they sent you a TA20 but the one via the unit accessories tab is a completely different part number.
Something to watch if the original one breaks. _________________ Satnav:

Yes, so it seems. I wasn't holding my breath that it would work. I wonder why the website has a different PN to that which they actually supplied. Perhaps, as suss said earlier, they have standardised. Now to try to find out why a standard charger (with the data cables shorted to make it charge the Garmin), doesn't work with Traffic. Perhaps it's something to do with the fifth connector in the mini USB connector and cable setup (if the cable itself has 5 wires. |
