Possibly going to purchase a new device, upgrade tomtom one V2 to TT XL.

Is it possible to move my Favs to a new device, if so which file is it?

MapSettings.csv in the named map folder IIRC.

It does have lots of other stuff in it too, such as any POI warning settings, so if the two models are radically different it may not like the file from the other unit.

If it doesn't work though, there are other methods we can describe, such as using POI Edit. Let us know if you need more help.

Have you developed a lisp, Andy?

And the method whereby they are converted to POIs.

Oops, not a lisp, but 'brain fag'.

The correct filename is MapSettings.cfg (or mapsettings.cfg on later models)

Then I'm confused.... I deliberately didn't mention the "Content Transfer Assistant" method, because that is for transferring from an old (NAV2 software) model to a new (NAV3 software) model.

You said you wanted to transfer from a ONE V2 to an XL, both of which are old models IIRC.

From that webpage:
Quote:
From old device
GO LIVE 1000 series, GO LIVE 800 series
Via LIVE series, Via series
GO LIVE Top Gear, GO LIVE 2000 series
VIA 1000 series
Start 20, Start 25, Start 60 (2012)
GO x50, GO x40, GO x30, GO x20, GO x10, GO classic
XXL, XL, Start, ONE
Rider

To new device:
GO 40, GO 50, GO 60, GO 400, GO 500, GO 600, Rider 400, Rider 40, GO 510, GO 610, GO 5000, GO 6000, GO 5100, GO 6100, START 40, START 50, START 60
