Garmin voices how to add 3rd party voice KITT

I have a Garmin 2597 and have previously purchased a KITT voice vpm file from Navtones. I have tried to copy paste it from my computer to my Garmin in the voices file of the Garmin, but when I physically use my Garmin 2597, KITT is not shown in Languages. I feel like maybe there's a step I'm missing. How do I get my Garmin 2597 to recognize KITT?

Your nuvi uses TTS3 voices, so it's quite possible KITT is the wrong format.

Awesome, thank you so much!! Will try that when Im in front of my desktop tonight and post the outcome. I had a feeling that might be the reason.

meant to ask should I convert the file to TTS3? If so is there a converter on the Internet?
