Switch to Micro SD card

I have a 2699LMT unit with only 60mb left but with a blank 8Gb micro card in it.

Is there a way to switch all files to the SD card so the satnav runs from the SD card? Can the folders be "split" so some of them reside on the SD card rather than the Satnav?

Not easily. What you can try first is delete all unwanted vehicle, voice, text, keyboard, help and EULA files. That should free up a fair bit of space.

A map update is due out next week. Almost certainly you will need the card for that!

It'll use the card for the complete map if it won't fit internally. It doesn't split the map between the two.
