4.1.7.0 is now available.
This version includes the following changes:
• Fixed an issue where the “Change Account” button was inoperable.
• Fixed an issue where a number of devices wouldn’t receive a firmware update when initially being added to Express.
• Fixed an issue where Express would display the incorrect map title when changing map regions.
• Fixed translation issues in Russian and Japanese.
• Minor UI improvements. |

Not sure when it changed but the settings is now completely different from 4.1.5.0 (my previous version).

Just upgraded Express to 4.1.9.0 and checked for device updates.
It offers me WE 2016.2, Device S/W 7.8 and Nuvi 25x9 Help V 2.2
Can I d/l the map to my computer without installing basecamp and later put it onto my device? If so, how? |

I'm sure sussamb said no. You can do a dual Garmin & PC or just Garmin but not just PC. _________________ Satnav:

I think you can - you just choose it under options though this could be brain collapse! |

Yes, but that says that it will also install Basecamp.
Does it first downloadl to your computer and then copy to the device, or does it do the stupid thing and download twice? |

I did a dual download once and I'm sure it downloads to a temporary area then moved the file to one or two locations depending on your option. _________________ Satnav:

If I did it was wrong. You can do just to PC. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I'm happy just sending it straight to the device so I've never tried a PC only.
As it downloads then verifies the file before attempting to send it to the device I'm OK with that. _________________ Satnav:

I just tried updating it and it all went horribly wrong. The installer says it can't find the .msi file but the old version seems to have gone.
I tried again - and got the same error.
So now I have no Garmin Express.
Anyone got any ideas?
