If you go into the hidden .System folder there are a few files which relate to the manufacturing date. Manifest.txt is one such file and lists every file and folder on your nuvi - used as a check by Garmin to ensure complete transfer of all system files.
I'm guessing your unit 39Q040XXX will be mid to late September and therefore produced before the latest release of Speedcam POIs on 7th October. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70

'7th October latest' !
I would subscribe here and get the 'latest' January 15 ones. I think you will find a proper spoken warning far better than the soft 'bong' that could go unnoticed. _________________ Satnav:

However as Kremmen says you may be better off with the ones from here, although personally I don't use the 'spoken' warnings, just the bong does it for me _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way.
- I meant 7th October is the latest release of the free Garmin Speed Cam POIs (they load these onto every unit and seem to change every 3 months). As others have already said, use the PGPSW World Speed Cams as these are more accurate, are updated every week and also include mobile and average speed cams which Garmin's own database doesn't _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.70
