I have a Nuvi 2568LMT. The PGPSW camera icons keep disappearing as I approach the cameras. I know this is something to do with trigger speed, but it is annoying. I have tried various ways of using the POI Loader, but havent managed to hit on the right one yet.
I want to see the icons as I approach the camera no matter what speed I am doing, without them disappearing until I pass the camera (especially redlight).
Do I need to uncheck "file has alert points" box for instance? Please can anyone tell me the best way of doing this within POI Loader.
Thanks |

The best I can suggest is to give my CSV converter a trial which forces all cameras to be shown regardless of what Garmin think.
Garmin seem to have some odd dealings with cameras when you are below the limit.
Mind you, they have some quirks when you are on the limit like telling you multiple times about it ! _________________ Satnav:

Thanks for the reply. I have tried one of the suggested GPX converters but it does the job at the expense of disabling the road speed limit indicator and causes an overspeed warning. Please can you give me details of yours.
Thanks, John |

Not seen that on my 2508, cameras are always shown. Why yours is different I have no idea. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I saw that phenomenon when I used the CSV set.
My guess at the time was that the unit deduced I was under the limit and not accelerating. The result was that I could pass a camera with no icon or spoken warning.
One of the reasons I did the converter. _________________ Satnav:
