3597LMT proximity alerts gone

That's not been my experience. Speed camera files remain on the nuvi and can be used indefinitely ... Even when they are 'out of date'.

I've just reloaded files that were on my 1490 when I bought it over 4 years ago and they still work.

The Garmin Cyclops trial does have an expiry. The camera files from here don't expire but I wouldn't recommend sticking with an out of date database if you are prone to sneaking over the limit.
