Via 120 Live speaker replacment

Hi all, anyone have any idea exactly which speaker (and specs) is inside a Via 120. Mine has started sounding like a vibrating ballloon, viewed a You Tube vid for battery replacment but nothing on the speaker. I dont want to open it up till i can get the speaker but that makes id ing it impossible (still barely usable at the mo). Repair shops are charging more to do the job than what its worth. Thanks

Nope sorry, you'll just have to take it apart and measure it.
Having said that, I've never seen a remotely-compatible speaker from any of the "normal" electronic components suppliers such as RS, Farnell or CPC.

I'd have thought your best bet would be to keep an eye out on eBay for a similar model with a broken screen being sold "for spares".
