Nuvi 3598 - managing maps.

I recently bought a Nuvi 3598 and since then I have installed the map for the USA, downloading it from Garmin.

I now have four maps on my device, three for Europe and one for the USA. AT the moment all four are ticked.

Will the device worked better (faster!) if I only have the three Europe maps ticked whilst in Europe and only the USA map ticked whilst in the USA?

Well I suspect only you can test that, but I doubt it will make any noticeable difference.
