M6 north Brum variable limit signs are on

Tonight, in addition to the specs cameras between J5 an J8 (M5), the variable limit signs were on. At one point, the variable signs showed 40 but the temp signs for the average cams still showed 50 so there's doubt as to what the limit actually was. There's one pair of variable cameras to add which I'll submit tomorrow when I'm on a system that let's me use the form.

Another thing to note is that the font used is less stretched than the other variable signs nearby. I keep reading that the problem with sign design has been resolved but can't find anything showing which bit of legislation this was done under so don't know if this new design is permitted or not.

Spotted this too but only the 40 was on the red circle was not so they were advisory only.

Weather was pretty nasty though.
