Ah, the end of an era!

We have a 40 Premium....has done a good job over the years, although we were noticing (albeit on a long run to the Alps!) that it can be rather slow now. Not sure it is worth renewing the freshmaps subscription (although my second one must be close to ending soon): will they really keep the maps well updated for the next 2 years ?

I'm loath to use my Android phone for sat-nav - I actually like the idea of a dedicated sat-nav device on a long run.....
Wondering whether a Tesco HUDL with some suitable s/w might work well (half price £60 with clubcard vouchers!).

I'll peruse the forums for recommended apps (CoPilot looks reasonable on first glance)

thanks

Can't remember the last time I used my 4350 in anger - but I keep it charged (to recommended 60% battery or so) - as a back-up mostly. Due to a glitch in Fresh (now fixed!) it actually has Q3/2013 maps on it!

I originally bought an Android smartphone so I didn't have to bother with both mobile and satnav. Have Navigon on a 9" Sony tablet too although this is only used for planning trips (and as an email/web browser in the 'van).
